The Hermitage, located in Twyford, Berkshire dates back to the Queen Anne period with later Victorian extensions. This grand and prominent home situated within the conservation area of Twyford is a house listed as local historic interest.

Set in the heart of Twyford within easy reach of all local amenities, including the Twyford main-line Train Station to Paddington, the Hermitage is also within easy reach of Reading , Henley, Maidenhead, other Cities and towns of interest and just a short walk away are a selection of fine restaurants and public houses.

The Hermitage has recently undergone a major renovation of public rooms and bedrooms. There is a choice of four en-suite bedrooms within the main house, all fitted to a high standard including 40 channel flat screen televisions, mini fridges and wireless broadband internet access. The main rooms are furnished to a traditional style with hand made solid mahogany furnishings and are complimented with Egyptian cotton bedding to finish the bedrooms beautifully.

At The Hermitage we strive to create an atmosphere that will ensure you feel both relaxed and refreshed from your stay with possibly the best night’s sleep you have ever had.

 

Extensive in-room continental breakfasts with a range of additional treats are included for your comfort.

 

The Hermitage also offers two additional en-suite rooms located in the stables and set within the grounds of the main house, allowing fine views of the Victorian architecture.

 

There is ample parking for visitors and our advice is to book early to avoid disappointment.  For your comfort The Hermitage is a non smoking house.

 

All payments are due in advance and we accept most major debit cards/credit cards. Payment over the telephone can also be arranged. We require guests to bring photographic identification.
